Movie Review: Lady Bird (2017)

Hello All,

I’m exhausted, I don’t know when the next review will be, or of what, so let’s just do this shall we?

Plot Summary - Following the 2002 - 2003 school year of the self named Lady Bird (Saoirse Ronan) as she deals with life and applying to college.

Pros - Overall the film is quite well done. It follows my most simple winning formula of a good story well told, and it does it damn near perfectly. The cast is great, the story feels grounded, and as lazy as this might sound it honestly just works.

Cons - My only real complaint is how much the timeline seems to jump around in consistently. Not enough to get lost in, just enough to notice it.

Final Score - 10/10

This basically met my expectations. If great coming of age films are your thing, go see it.

Next: Coco - Or a suggestion box review. Don’t really know anymore. I promise to try and get back on track, it’s just a hectic time of year.
