Newest Review is LIVE!! It's time to re explore a top 10 worst film
Hello All,
Regular readers may recall the poll I had where I had you vote for on a bad film that I actually liked for me to review. The poll ended in a tie and this is the first of the split vote winners, Hitman Agent 47. Now not only did I give this it’s own review back in August (Read that here) but it also ended up at Number 9 on my top ten worst of 2015 (also read that here). So basically I’ve covered why the film is bad quite a few times, so today I’m going to focus more on why I enjoy it instead.
Truth be told, it’s just so damn bad in almost every aspect that it’s actually kind of endearing. Aside from the admittedly interesting action scenes, this movie suffers from almost every kind of problem imaginable and that makes it really quite fascinating. It’s almost like watching a trainwreck unfold before your eyes in that it’s horrible but you really can’t turn away.
To me, and I hate making this comparison, but it’s almost kind of like the room. I mean at least in my mind that’s what it kind of reminds me of. The first time you just watch and are just amazed at how something this bad can even get made. Now, on my second viewing of it, I find myself noticing things I didn’t before that sort of just adds to the majesty of just how pointless the whole movie is, which in turn just makes it all the more mesmerizing to watch.
The only true thing I will gives this movie credit for is the action scenes, even if it has to go to ridiculous lengths sometimes to set them up. It’s also kind of weirdly graphic in how these guys are killed. That and they made Zachary Quinto basically the terminator is pretty funny.
Final Score - 1/10
But, after some time to think on it, I will give this the Lower Score Seal of Approval, for just how entertaining it is anyways. It’s number nine worst spot though will not be changed because at the end of the day though, it’s still a bad film.
Next: Ratchet and Clank - At least for newly released movies.
But here and now, I can officially reveal the Critically Acclaimed Film that I Hate: Interstellar.
Until then, I’ll see you folks at the movies.
